About Us
Bass Security was formed in October 2008 but its history extends back many years. Back in the early 1990's, local businessman Ross Langlois formed Shadow Protective Services with two other local identities. In time, the partners decided to part ways and divide the business into several separate entities.
With Shadow Protective Services still a strong local provider of Patrol and Security Guard services, Raneye Systems was established to provide electronic security solutions. Under the guidance of Ross, Raneye grew many different divisions ranging from telephone, fire and data installations through to a retail electronics shop and television antennae installations. Throughout this time the security division quietly grew.
In October 2008, the security division was rolled into Bass Security and provided its own dedicated team under the guidance of Chris Kavanagh. Chris comes to the region after working within most facets of the Security Industry and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist clients to find the most appropriate and cost effective security solutions.
Not just limiting itself to electronic security solutions, the team at Bass Security work with a number of industry suppliers to ensure our clients needs are met. With solutions ranging from a simple alarm system through to a fully integrated alarm / access control / cctv solution or the installation of electric fencing, automatic gates, the provision of security guards or the implementation of strategic security patrols Bass Security has the resources, knowledge, experience and networks to help meet your requirements.
Now recognised as the largest provider of electronic security solutions in the region, Bass Security is proud to support the community by employing locally and supporting local community groups either through direct donation or the provision of free services.
